digital luthiery workshop
Are you looking for new ways to create and interact with sound and music through open source software and hardware?
This weekly two-hour gathering is a space for learning, sharing, and creating, where participants will explore the world of digital luthiery through programming in
pure data.
The workshop is open to absolute beginners as well as experienced patchers who'd like to share their ideas and connect with a community of creators. A donation of 5 -10 euros is expected to cover costs of operation.
Through the use of a curated collection of pure data patches, encompassing a range of instruments, sound modifiers and effects, participants will be guided in the art of customizing their instruments in favor of their individual expression, regardless of their sonic background.
The workshop will also cover how create and use various sensors for data input and how to embed these instruments into
belas, raspberry pi's, webpd, and
mobile devices for standalone use.
